BS BATTERY provides an economical alternative to meet the needs of any Honda that is no longer covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. These batteries complement Honda’s genuine line-up perfectly and offer excellent value for money.

Understanding the BS BATTERY range
Honda’s BS Battery range includes SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries with AGM technology, identified by BTX, BTZ, BTR, and BB references, all factory activated, ready to use, and maintenance-free. Supporting a 90° mounting angle, the BS Battery range are compatible with all motorcycles. These batteries are non-spillable, safe to ship, and fully e-commerce ready, delivering high starting power, extended life cycle, and consistent performance.
Honda offers two different types of batteries from BS:
- SLA: sealed leadacid batteries that are factory-activated. The ‘plug and play’ principle means these batteries are ready for use. They require no maintenance and are extremely safe.
- SLA Max: this battery works on the same principle as the SLA battery. Thanks to its increased capacity, this battery is perfect for motorcycles with extra electronic equipment such as a GPS, alarm, audio, or additional lights.
What about the BB, BTX, BTZ references mentioned on the batteries?
BB: this designation was originally used for dry battery technology
BTX: identifies our high-performance maintenance-free range
BTZ: refers to factory-activated models.
These familiar designations are now also used in our SLA range, making it easy for customers to upgrade from dry or MF batteries to SLA technology.
